Meet Your Purr-Fect Match
In addition to being a fun neighborhood retreat, we also house adoptable cats! You don’t need to be looking to adopt to book a kitty visit and meet our cats, but many people find a new furry family member!
We’re owned by the MEOW Foundation and all of the cats in the Kitty Kingdom are MEOW cats. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about adopting a cat from Regal Cat Café.
Ready to Adopt?
If you’ve met a cat you want to adopt, be sure to act quickly! Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis based on who meets the cats and then contacts our adoption staff and we often have multiple people interested in the same cat.
If you’re ready to adopt:
Fill out MEOW Foundation’s adoption application if you haven’t already. If you have previously had an interview with our adoption staff and been approved, you can skip this step.
Send a separate email to adopt@meowfoundation.com to let them know which kitty you have fallen in love with.
A MEOW Foundation adoption specialist will aim to contact you within one business day.
Taking Your Cat Home
All cats at the café stay for two to three weeks, regardless of when they are adopted. They go home at a set date and time; no exceptions can be made. Make note of the go-home dates for the cats below to make sure it works for you!
Adoption Nights are on Wednesday evenings with the exception of holidays. The next group of kitties then arrives the next day (Thursday).
If you are looking to adopt, we recommend coming as early as possible the day a new group arrives to make sure you don’t miss out! You can also get pre-approved with an adoption application, found on the MEOW Foundation website!
Klaus - Adopted!

Will purr for food and pets - Meet Klaus. Klaus was well loved and cared for, but when faced with no pet housing policies, the difficult decision was made for him to come to MEOW to start anew. He is a mellow, friendly gentle cat who gets along well with his feline mates, but overall he is more interested in finding a special human to call his own. He spends his days lounging and keeping an eye out for possible visitors who will spend some time with him. If you are looking for a perfect companion cat and new best friend, Klaus could be your guy.

Meet Pistachio! A kitty guaranteed to melt your heart! Pistachio is a sweet young male tabby with lots of white who has blossomed from a frightened, abandoned kitten into a playful, affectionate companion. This gentle boy has the cutest white-tipped tail and a soft purr that starts the moment he trusts you. He still prefers slow introductions—play first, then a curious sniff, and soon enough, gentle pets. He loves the company of other cats. Sweet, petite Hammer is ready to meet her match. Rescued on a rural property adjacent to Calgary, a kind property owner was her lucky charm who saved her from a very high risk environment.
