Meet Your Purr-Fect Match
In addition to being a fun neighborhood retreat, we also house adoptable cats! You don’t need to be looking to adopt to book a kitty visit and meet our cats, but many people find a new furry family member!
We’re owned by the MEOW Foundation and all of the cats in the Kitty Kingdom are MEOW cats. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about adopting a cat from Regal Cat Café.
Ready to Adopt?
If you’ve met a cat you want to adopt, be sure to act quickly! Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis based on who meets the cats and then contacts our adoption staff and we often have multiple people interested in the same cat.
If you’re ready to adopt:
Fill out MEOW Foundation’s adoption application if you haven’t already. If you have previously had an interview with our adoption staff and been approved, you can skip this step.
Send a separate email to adopt@meowfoundation.com to let them know which kitty you have fallen in love with.
A MEOW Foundation adoption specialist will aim to contact you within one business day.
Taking Your Cat Home
All cats at the café stay for two to three weeks, regardless of when they are adopted. They go home at a set date and time; no exceptions can be made. Make note of the go-home dates for the cats below to make sure it works for you!
Adoption Nights are on Wednesday evenings with the exception of holidays. The next group of kitties then arrives the next day (Thursday).
If you are looking to adopt, we recommend coming as early as possible the day a new group arrives to make sure you don’t miss out! You can also get pre-approved with an adoption application, found on the MEOW Foundation website!

Lemur

Lemur is a happy go lucky tabby boy who adores everyone and everything around him!He’s endlessly playful, always ready for a game or an adventure, and can usually be found tumbling around with his look-alike siblings. Tapir

Tapir is a bold and playful little explorer who’s always on the move. He loves roughhousing with his siblings, Lemur and Pallas, and scaling whatever he can find, and claiming the highest possible sleeping spot like the tiny king he is. One of his favorite toys? Your slippers. Tapir can spend ages batting them around and proudly dragging them across the floor like his latest conquest. With his adventurous spirit and silly charm, Tapir is sure to bring nonstop entertainment (and maybe some missing footwear) to his forever home.
Buccaneer

With his left eye patch, Buccaneer feels certain he bears a resemblance to a pirate. Buccaneer has a gentle, unassuming and mellow personality that makes him a perfect fit with his adoption room friends. He tends to let the other cats check out visitors first and then slowly moves his way through the crowd of cats to reach your fingers for some pets. Rescued with Swashbuckler, these two boys have lived together and get on very well, so if you are hoping to adopt a pair of bookends, put these two on your must meet list. Jolly Roger

Pleased to meet you. I am Mizzen, and I was a well known stray in my neighbourhood for over a year. People were kind and kept me fed, but what I really needed was a temporary sanctuary and logistical support to help me find a new future. My lovely rescuer did everything possible to reunite me with my lost family, but without a permanent ID, it was not to be. In my early days at MEOW, I did have to have minor surgery to repair a hernia, but now I am ready to go Home 4 the Holidays. So put out your welcome mat, open your arms and heart and let me in.
