Meet Your Purr-Fect Match
In addition to being a fun neighborhood retreat, we also house adoptable cats! You don’t need to be looking to adopt to book a kitty visit and meet our cats, but many people find a new furry family member!
We’re owned by the MEOW Foundation and all of the cats in the Kitty Kingdom are MEOW cats. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about adopting a cat from Regal Cat Café.
Ready to Adopt?
If you’ve met a cat you want to adopt, be sure to act quickly! Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis based on who meets the cats and then contacts our adoption staff and we often have multiple people interested in the same cat.
If you’re ready to adopt:
Fill out MEOW Foundation’s adoption application if you haven’t already. If you have previously had an interview with our adoption staff and been approved, you can skip this step.
Send a separate email to adopt@meowfoundation.com to let them know which kitty you have fallen in love with.
A MEOW Foundation adoption specialist will aim to contact you within one business day.
Taking Your Cat Home
All cats at the café stay for two to three weeks, regardless of when they are adopted. They go home at a set date and time; no exceptions can be made. Make note of the go-home dates for the cats below to make sure it works for you!
Adoption Nights are on Wednesday evenings with the exception of holidays. The next group of kitties then arrives the next day (Thursday).
If you are looking to adopt, we recommend coming as early as possible the day a new group arrives to make sure you don’t miss out! You can also get pre-approved with an adoption application, found on the MEOW Foundation website!

Chapter is the sweetest wee guy, who was previously raised in a loving home, but Chapter and his brother, Author needed a helping paw to find their happy ever after homes. Chapter immediately settled into his adoption room and met all his Kitty Kingdom buddies. He has learned to sing the breakfast time song and join ‘team cat’ playtimes, followed by cat puddle naptimes. All this cuteness needs a home and we hope it might be you.

Got balls or springs? Meet our little beauty, Jinx. Jinx hitched a ride to Calgary with one of our partner agencies, and immediately set about charming the people at MEOW with her winsome ways. From resting in sunbeams on tall cat posts and with one eye always open, Jinx likes to survey her adoption room domain. She gets along well with her roommates, but prefers a bit more of an independent lifestyle versus engaging in the crazy kitten antics. Let me tell you about myself. My name is Rial. I think I am pretty cute with my white muzzle and white bandana bib, not to mention my pleasingly pink nose. I was rescued in a rural area, so things like puzzle feeders and tantalizing wand toys are all part of the wonder at MEOW. Other wonders include the kind volunteers who offer me the most delicious canned food twice a day. Of course, this immediately made them my favourite people, but I know it is only temporary, so that is why I am here at the Regal Cat Cafe looking to find my special human and a Home 4 the Holidays.

Shooky is a playful, talkative and cuddly guy. He enjoys gazing out the window from his cat tree just as much as cuddling and purring on your legs. He does not hesitate to voice out his opinions. His favourite toys are feathered toys and ball tracks. He can often be found taking his midday nap on the cat tree. If you want a cat who is both cuddly and playful, Shooky is the one for you.

Seasons Greeting’s from me - Crowbar. I am a pretty recent arrival at MEOW and imagine my excitement when I heard I was chosen to be part of Regal Cat Cafe.
