Meet Your Purr-Fect Match
In addition to being a fun neighborhood retreat, we also house adoptable cats! You don’t need to be looking to adopt to book a kitty visit and meet our cats, but many people find a new furry family member!
We’re owned by the MEOW Foundation and all of the cats in the Kitty Kingdom are MEOW cats. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about adopting a cat from Regal Cat Café.
Ready to Adopt?
If you’ve met a cat you want to adopt, be sure to act quickly! Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis based on who meets the cats and then contacts our adoption staff and we often have multiple people interested in the same cat.
If you’re ready to adopt:
Fill out MEOW Foundation’s adoption application if you haven’t already. If you have previously had an interview with our adoption staff and been approved, you can skip this step.
Send a separate email to adopt@meowfoundation.com to let them know which kitty you have fallen in love with.
A MEOW Foundation adoption specialist will aim to contact you within one business day.
Taking Your Cat Home
All cats at the café stay for two to three weeks, regardless of when they are adopted. They go home at a set date and time; no exceptions can be made. Make note of the go-home dates for the cats below to make sure it works for you!
Adoption Nights are on Wednesday evenings with the exception of holidays. The next group of kitties then arrives the next day (Thursday).
If you are looking to adopt, we recommend coming as early as possible the day a new group arrives to make sure you don’t miss out! You can also get pre-approved with an adoption application, found on the MEOW Foundation website!
Morph

Open your heart and home and welcome Morph. From the moment Morph and his brother, Pupa, arrived at MEOW after a partner transfer, they made themselves at home. After his full service package of a neuter, microchip and vaccines, Morph was added to the Regal Cat Cafe list and will be ready to explore and soak up all the love that is on offer. If you are looking for a content, endearing and happy chappie, Morph is ready to fit the bill.
Pupa
Age: 7 Months

Give Pupa the scritches and scratchesthat he adores. Transferred with his brother, Morph, from a partner agency, he is a sweet, affectionate little burst of sunshine. He spends his days exploring, napping and snacking with his roomies, and always keeps a keen lookout for human visitors. He will make the perfect new family member, so apply today.

Dunkirk is a fun and loving tuxedo boy. He is very outgoing, playful, and affectionate with his foster mamma and the resident cats. He likes to show off his climbing and scratching skills with the scratching post. He's quite the "zoomie" kitten in the morning, after he eats a good breakfast (he loves his food). Once he’s tuckered out, he loves taking a nap at the top of his perch, so he can make sure to keep his eyes on everyone else. Oh! And he’s a big purring machine too! He’s quick to tell anyone about what a great time he is having!

Meet Skipper, an affectionate, bigger boned fellow who caught a transport ride and transfer from a partner rescue group. He made himself comfortable almost immediately and has used his time with MEOW to get ready for his adoption debut at Regal Cat Cafe. With loving gazes shared with staff and volunteers and curious charm, this cheerful redhead is ready for his forever dig.

Too cute for words - Meet Punch Buggy. Punch was humanely trapped at a community TNR site. He has discarded his shy guy disguise and blossomed into the sweetest and most affectionate youngster. He loves life….his food, the people, the other cats, and playtime is the best. From chasing the floor mops as volunteers sweep, to stalk and capture the toy game, followed by mini power naps, life is good and Punch Buggy is ready to meet his forever people.

Argus is full of hope and looking at the road ahead. Found under a deck in a Calgary neighbourhood, Argus was not neutered and without ID, so his rescuer could not find an owner. For the first few days Argus was quite fearful and hunkered down, and then one day, up he popped and let us know that no problem - he would love to find new friends and a family in the Kitty Kingdom. Handsome, sweet and friendly, he will be a perfect fit for most homes.
