Meet Your Purr-Fect Match
In addition to being a fun neighborhood retreat, we also house adoptable cats! You don’t need to be looking to adopt to book a kitty visit and meet our cats, but many people find a new furry family member!
We’re owned by the MEOW Foundation and all of the cats in the Kitty Kingdom are MEOW cats. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about adopting a cat from Regal Cat Café.
Ready to Adopt?
If you’ve met a cat you want to adopt, be sure to act quickly! Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis based on who meets the cats and then contacts our adoption staff and we often have multiple people interested in the same cat.
If you’re ready to adopt:
Fill out MEOW Foundation’s adoption application if you haven’t already. If you have previously had an interview with our adoption staff and been approved, you can skip this step.
Send a separate email to adopt@meowfoundation.com to let them know which kitty you have fallen in love with.
A MEOW Foundation adoption specialist will aim to contact you within one business day.
Taking Your Cat Home
All cats at the café stay for two to three weeks, regardless of when they are adopted. They go home at a set date and time; no exceptions can be made. Make note of the go-home dates for the cats below to make sure it works for you!
Adoption Nights are on Wednesday evenings with the exception of holidays. The next group of kitties then arrives the next day (Thursday).
If you are looking to adopt, we recommend coming as early as possible the day a new group arrives to make sure you don’t miss out! You can also get pre-approved with an adoption application, found on the MEOW Foundation website!
Airy - Adopted!

Meet Airy - our soft, fluffy and pretty girl. She is an affectionate and sweet little cat who has a whole range of cute vocal sounds she uses to communicate with you. Playtime is always popular and she especially loves wand toys. After a vigorous round of playing, a snack and a nap on her to-do list and if your lap is available, that is all the better to catch up on her kitty zzzz’s. Airy is just delightful and waiting to meet you.
Drumstick

Drumstick had one lucky day and that is all he needed to turn his life around. He came to the attention of someone in a small town who knew he was new and potentially abandoned. They were able to entice him into a crate and he was on the road to MEOW. Whatever happened in the past, he deserves better. Drumstick is mellow, content and easily pleased. We think he would be just the right fit for a first time cat owner or a happy addition to an experienced home. An all round guy - Adopt Drumstick.

As cute as can be and twice as nice, meet Sprout. Voted the most social, most active and most curious cat in her adoption room, Sprout is an ideal candidate for a family home. Rum and Raisin are sisters, best friends, snuggle buddies and playmates. When you meet them, it will be like the sun appearing from behind a cloud - a burst of warmth, energy and love. They arrived from a rural rescue transfer to start anew in our compassionate, pet loving city of Calgary. These two girls love to explore their surroundings from top to bottom, side to side and turn over every toy, but the thing they love best are the cat lovers that come to visit them. The run is done! Phish was spotted running around for over a month in a small town, but after some coaxing, she was enticed into her rescuers home and is now in the caring hands of MEOW. If Phish is unsure or startled, she likes to “turtle” under her bed, but it only takes a few words of invitation before she emerges from her shell. Pets and visits are some of Phish’s favorite things. Her affectionate personality combined with her hopeful eyes, will be her ticket home.

Harvest is a show stopper! More than a pretty kitty, Harvest has amazing social skills and she knows she was born to be a companion to some lucky human. Spend some time with Gelato. Our happy, enthusiastic gal lost her first home through no fault of her own, but she is only focused on the horizon and the many possibilities life may have to offer.
